Labyrinths are found worldwide dating back to Ancient Egypt as well as Ancient Greece. Today, they are popular in numerous places including healthcare settings and healing gardens.
Labyrinths help in aiding the whole person both physically and mentally. Labyrinths are used to meditate, help solve problems, to find inspiration, to reduce stress, and even to find spiritual meanings. Labyrinths unlike mazes are a single path and have a center. There is no right or wrong way to walk it, when you reach the center you may stay as long as you wish. Walking a labyrinth is a peaceful activity for people of all ages to enjoy.
