DG2 Design worked with Allgeier, Martin and Associates to develop a landscape plan for Coca Cola Refresnments’ new campus in Joplin, Missouri. A rain garden was designed to utilize native plants and materials to filter and treat the local runoff form the parking lots.
Specific native plant species were chosen to provide a beautiful yet functional landscape that infiltrates stormwater on the site through a bio-retention zone. Prairie grasses and herbaceous perennials combine to provide a native foundation to juxtapose the modern distribution center.
