Gravois Greenway

Gravois Greenway

DG2 Design is part of the team helping Great Rivers Greenway plan the extension of Grant’s Trail beginning at the the current trailhead and ending at Lemay Park where it will connect to the River des Peres Greenway.

Landscape Architects have been hired to begin the planning process for the long awaited connection between the Grant’s trail, which currently ends close to Union Road and highway 55. The River Des Peres Greenway, which is currently being extended beyond the original Morgan Ford termination point, will continue alongside River Des Peres to eventually connect into Jefferson Barracks Park.

The proposed connection would follow the Gravois Creek and connect close to Heine Meine and Lemay Park. Once connected, the Gravois Greenway will total 10 miles and connect to the River des Peres Greenway which currently has 6.5 miles built of the 11 mile corridor.
