Partnering with BJC Healthcare and CoxHealth, DG2 Design provided planning and landscape architecture services for the Children's Specialty Care Clinic, a new outpatient facility bringing nationally recognized pediatric care closer to families across southwest Missouri. The project extends the reach of St. Louis Children's Hospital and Washington University Physicians into a community-focused setting, expanding access to Missouri's top-ranked pediatric services.

The 9-acre campus is designed as a state-of-the-art home for comprehensive outpatient pediatric care, where architecture and site design work together to support the physical, social, and emotional needs of young patients.

DG2's landscape design centers on the arrival experience. A calming, playful entry sequence — from planting to public art — helps ease anxiety for children and their families before and after appointments. Outdoor spaces also give staff a restorative retreat, a place to reconnect with nature amid the demands of pediatric healthcare.
