College of the Ozarks
Point Lookout, Missouri
DG2 Design partnered with the civil engineer and College of the Ozarks to reimagine the campus's main entrance, creating a welcoming sense of arrival. The project included a new roundabout, an enhanced streetscape, interior landscape islands, monument signage, and cohesive landscape and wayfinding elements that tie the campus together.
The scope extended beyond the main entry to include streetscape improvements along Opportunity Avenue and a new entrance on Vocational Way, strengthening connectivity and circulation across campus. DG2 also designed a new parking lot for the Keeter Center, the college's student-run, farm-to-table restaurant set in a charming lodge. The lot design improves aesthetics, integrates stormwater management strategies, and enhances both vehicular and pedestrian circulation.
Together, these improvements create a strong sense of arrival that reflects the pride and identity of College of the Ozarks, while providing safer, more efficient movement for vehicles and pedestrians alike.
