Jeremiah DeGuire

Co-Owner and Public Engagement

Jeremiah DeGuire supports public engagement efforts at DG2 Design in St. Louis, contributing to community outreach and accessibility consultation through empathy, listening, and thoughtful participation. A disabled United States Marine Corps veteran who has used a wheelchair for more than 20 years, Jeremiah brings lived understanding of accessibility, universal design, inclusion, and advocacy to the landscape architecture projects he supports throughout the region.

Jeremiah excels at connecting with people during public meetings and engagement activities, helping document community input and supporting dialogue with citizens, stakeholders, and project partners. His perspective strengthens engagement efforts by ensuring diverse voices are acknowledged and accurately represented throughout the design process.

Outside the office, Jeremiah is an active member of Paralyzed Veterans of America and Lifewaters, a disabled scuba-diving group. He also serves on the Board of Return to Base of Missouri, a nonprofit dedicated to mental wellness, peer support, and outdoor experiences for veterans. Through both his professional and personal work, Jeremiah remains deeply committed to advocacy, inclusion, and community connection.
