Marketing & Public Engagement Lead

Stanford Griffith is the Marketing and Public Engagement Lead at DG2 Design in St. Louis. This role combines his passion for evidence-based communication, improving the lives of others, conservation, and nature through community-centered landscape architecture projects. Stanford has led communication, marketing, and public engagement initiatives for nonprofits, for-profits, economic development engines, art organizations, and healthcare throughout the Midwest and South, specializing in accessible and inclusive design outreach.

Stanford knows firsthand the power of nature to heal, especially through quiet strolls in greenways, wandering mountain paths, and exploring sensory-immersive gardens and exploring sensory-immersive gardens. Throughout his life, he has been a strong proponent of conservation and native planting, but he also enjoys exotic flora and the fauna that all landscapes attract.

At DG2 Design, Stanford uses his storytelling and understanding to drive thought and conversation. He enjoys all aspects of this process, including discovery, strategy planning, content creation, refinement, execution, and analysis. Stanford earned two degrees in storytelling from the University of Missouri – St. Louis and further refined his skills at the University of Missouri – Columbia's School of Journalism.

When he’s not working, you’ll often find Stanford at home playing the piano, reading in front of the fireplace with a cup of hot tea, or in the kitchen using the art of cooking or the science of baking. He also enjoys walking the Great River Greenway trails and is described as a life-long learner as he’s always taking a class (or four) to expand his skills.
